About Me
DotQuote
Graphic Designer, Video Editor
The idea behind starting this blog stemmed from my long-standing passion for quotes. I have been a graphic designer for over 17 years, but my fascination with quotes began long before that. Whether it’s quotes like “I walk slowly, but I never walk backward” by Abraham Lincoln or ancient sayings by Aristotle such as “Happiness depends on ourselves.“
What I appreciate most about quotes is their ability to convey profound meaning in just a few words. Some quotes serve as eye-openers, providing sudden clarity to concepts that your mind couldn’t quite grasp.
I used to take screenshots of the quotes I liked, sometimes hastily jotting them down in notes, and often messaging the quotes to myself. However, here, I wanted to compile everything I had collected and read over the years. It’s a way for me to reflect on life when I feel lost.
Most of the time, I don’t even remember who wrote the quote; I didn’t even bother to check. If the quote is impactful and provides meaning, I simply absorbed its message without concerning myself with the author’s identity. Occasionally, quotes come from individuals disliked in history, such as “I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.” Only later did I realize that this quote was attributed to Adolf Hitler.
For the viewers and readers, I hope this blog gives you more than what it has given to me. This blog features inspirational stories, articles, quotes, and my personal experiences.
